Celebrating local charities - Rotary awards night

A dozen of the many local charities helped by Buckingham Rotary this past year came together tonight to be recognised for their work and fundraising by Rotary and our new Mayor, Fran Davies, pictured.

Whether out with the Santa float in the streets or pounding up and down the pool at our swimathon, all had been helped to raise much needed funds. And one special lady, Jan Billings, who won the Rotary Swimathon Cup and Shield for swimming the furthest AND raising the most money, all as a team of one!!
