Information, Venue, Times, Event Details.

 

The Event. This is a social gathering for older vehicles, younger interesting vehicles and Petrol Heads.

It is being held in conjunction with the Buckingham Rugby Club Beer & Music Festival. The location is The Buckingham Rugby Club ground; MK18 1RF: map ref sheets 152: 702353. The venue will be open from 12.00 for the arrival and parking of your vehicles. Refreshments and food will be available to purchase. Rally Plaques will be presented to those who enter before 1st June. If you want to park with your friends, please note on your entry form; we will do our best to accommodate you.

Entrants get 2 free tickets to the Beer & Music Festival.

Buckingham Classic Ticket Application. While this event is primarily for vehicles over 20 years old, we will be pleased to see your more interesting younger vehicles, cars and motor bikes, scooters, tractors etc.. In fact anything that moves.

Entries may be made at www.buckinghamrotary.org using the online entry form.

Make your payment to the Rotary Club of Buckingham Trust Account : 30-91-39  00119192 (Lloyds) Reference your payment by, your name/car make.

OR Entry forms when completed may be emailed or posted  to the Event Secretary at d.w.jackson@btinternet.com  : 1 Villiers Close Buckingham MK18 1JH. Payment may be made by cheque to Rotary Club of Buckingham Trust account

 Entry Donation, £10…or more if you wish would be welcome to support our charities

To avoid financial loss in our Charity Trust account and in the unlikely event of cancellation of the event your ticket donation will not be refundable.

Substitute vehicles. If you have to use a substitute vehicle, please advise the Event Secretary at least 5 days before the event.

Charity.

You will be taking part in Buckingham Rotary Clubs 8th Classic Car meet, raising funds for local and international charitable work.

Local charities include.

Buckingham & Winslow Young Carers – Many children and young people are providing daily care for chronically sick or disable parents and siblings. The Youth Club run entirely by volunteers, offers children and young people aged from 7 to 18 years a facility where for a few hours they are able to forget the everyday personal caring responsibilities they have for one or more family members.

Citizens’ Advice Bureau - our local award-winning CAB is a group of mainly volunteers providing advice and assistance to those most needing it.

International Charities include.

Mary’s Meals; A UK based charity, providing over 1.3 MILLION meals each day to children attending school in 12 countries in Africa, Asia Latin America. Using local resources and volunteer staff and encouraging school attendance it helps provide the first step for these children out of continuing poverty and deprivation.      www.marysmeals.org.uk

Rotary Action Group Against Slavery; An International campaign, working with other groups to fight this evil trade. It is estimated by the UN that 5 million Adults and 8.4 million Children are enslaved around the world including 13000 in the UK.   ragas.online
